Water Thieves
A story written and created by Gergely Fodor
As the sun rose over the parched land, a feeling of despair settled heavy in the air. The once verdant earth was now a barren wasteland, the victim of a relentless invasion by a technologically advanced alien race.
Their own water reserves depleted, the aliens had sent forth their evil minions to scour the galaxy for new sources. And when they arrived on Earth, they wasted no time in harvesting every last drop of the precious liquid.
The humans fought back with all their might, but it was a futile effort. The alien machines were too powerful, and one by one, their defenses crumbled.
In the end, only a handful of survivors remained, scattered and alone in the ruins of their world.
But one of those survivors was a young girl, determined to avenge the loss of her home and her people.
Armed with her intelligence and a fierce will to survive,
she set out to take down the alien invaders, one at a time.
As she prowled through the wreckage, seeking out her targets, the girl couldn't help but wonder if her efforts would be enough.
Could she truly defeat an enemy so vastly superior to her own kind?
Only time would tell...
...but she was determined to try.
For the sake of her world and all the living beings that called it home...
she would not rest...
...until the last of the water thief lay at her feet.
